DANIELE BARTOCCI – JOURNALIST AND FOOD MANAGER

Journalist and award-winning manager in the agri-food sector, recipient of prestigious national and international journalism, communication, and food awards. Recognized as one of the most influential figures of the year 2023 (Premio 100 Eccellenze Italiane at Montecitorio – Chamber of Deputies). Included in the 2025 Top 40 Under 40 ranking of the Business Elite Awards, recognizing the most influential European personalities and managers under 40 worldwide.

 

Among the accolades received: Best Young Journalist Award 2024 at the Renato Cesarini Ceremony (a famous footballer and creator of Zona Cesarini), Best Sports Blogger Award 2020 and 2022 (Blog of the Year Award), Giovanni Arpino Inedito Award in Turin 2020, and Myllennium Awards, honored by CONI President Malagò and former Sports Minister Spadafora in both 2020 and 2019 in Rome, as one of Italy’s top 30 millennial talents.

In the food excellence sector, he won the Regina Margherita Memorial Award in 2022 (Gressoney Saint-Jean), the prestigious Food and Travel Awards Italy 2022 in Puglia, and was listed in the top 10 of the BarAwards in Milan among the best professionals involved in business development in the Ho.Re.Ca channel in 2022.

 

Ranked in the top 3 under 40 of the Ussi Sports Journalism Award 2022. Judge on the TV program King of Pizza on the Sky circuit, the Spaghetti Arselle Awards format in Versilia, and a jury member of the prestigious Emergente 2025 (Sala, Pizza, Chef) in Milan/Monza.

 

Named Food Manager of the Year 2023 in Milan (Innovation & Leadership Awards International LE Fonti) and winner of the Five Golden Stars of Italian Cuisine Award 2024.

The young Daniele Bartocci’s leadership seems to stem from his uncle, Dr. Alberto Santoni, the first Italian vice-coach of Julio Velasco and a mastermind behind extraordinary victories in the volleyball scene.

 

Throughout his distinguished career in Italy, Bartocci has also served as a sports commentator and radio broadcaster, as well as the head of communications for a sports club. Over the years, he has been a guest on various radio and television programs, including the famous Processo di Biscardi, a historic Italian sports talk show.

 

He has been a judge on the Sky talent show King of Pizza, created by the Italian National Pizza Team led by President Dovilio Nardi (holder of 8 Guinness World Records).

 

Bartocci is also a judge for the Spaghetti alle Arselle Awards in Forte dei Marmi (a prestigious award celebrating an iconic Italian dish from Tuscany) and Emergente 2025 Monza, an esteemed competition dedicated to Italy’s best under-30 professionals in pizza, culinary arts, and dining service, from which several Michelin-starred chefs have emerged over the years.
